CHAPTER 05 · HOW FAR IS A LIGHT?

The brightest light is not always the nearest.

04 / Beyond the Star Charts

A way home, wide enough for three.

The crew returns with ways to investigate, not a complete map. A response was tested twice; light was redirected; moving reference points were compared; heat was found without sunlight; distance was inferred from a change of viewpoint.
