A mountain, or a piece of one immense scar?
Walk to the overlook with Sol. Trace the old rings, cross a younger impact cut and reach the inner rise. Return to the lander to finish. Extra outcrops are optional.
Your trail crosses a compressed Valhalla field. Ridges block direct walking; the younger eastern crater breaks both inner rings. Walk along the pale continuation and compare two separated readings. Western and southern saddles offer other routes.

Callisto: real scars, an authored expedition
Observed: Callisto has a heavily cratered surface and Valhalla’s concentric ridges. Craters superposed on these rings show that the rings formed earlier. Inference: cross-cutting and burial constrain relative event order. Fiction: our terrain, route, crew and accelerated traversal. No structure stores a message; the reconstruction is a model, not a rewind of the moon.
